what exactly do you mean by subproject?  Using a separate trac installation,
mailing list, ...?  I think that might be a bit too much fragmentation.

But then, I'm not very clearly decided on this.  SIM card tracing/emulation
clearly is not a 'baseband' related task, so it may be an option to do
this independently.

At least I like the idea of splitting SIM card and OsmocomBB related stuff
much better than the recently proposed user/developer split of the list.

What do others think?
