Our lunalcd2 board built in 2021-08 (see ../lunalcd2 directory) was a success for the most part, but there is one issue: there is an elastic force originating somewhere in the area where the LCD module's FPC tail is folded under the body of the module, this force acts against both gravity and the adhesive, and it pushes the bottom of the LCD module upward, away from the PCB. Seeking to prevent this cosmetic problem (and possibly one of mechanical reliability) on our upcoming Venus board, we got a little metal bracket custom-made for us that is designed to hold the bottom of the LCD module in place. The present lunalcd3 PCB is a copy of lunalcd2 with the addition of two holes matching those in the bracket, thereby allowing this bracket to be used to hold down the LCD module.
