Because the "official" reference designators used by the original designers of the T60N925 board are unknown (no schematics cound be found and there are no refdes silkscreen markings), we have to invent our own new refdeses as part of the reverse engineering effort. Here are the refdeses I have assigned to the major components: Connectors on the battery/SIM side: J1 = USB connector J2 = headset jack J3 = battery connector J4 = SIM socket J5 = camera connector J6 = loudspeaker connects here J7 = GSM antenna test connector J8 = WLAN antenna test connector Connectors on the display/keypad side: J9 = LCD connector J10 = keypad board-to-board connector J11 = debug FPC connector J12 = vibrating motor connects here MIC1 = microphone Contact pads on the battery/SIM side: PAD1 = GSM antenna connection pad PAD2 = associated ground pad PAD3 = WLAN antenna connection pad PAD4 = associated ground pad Contact pads on the display/keypad side: PAD5 = earpiece connection pad, left as seen from the front PAD6 = earpiece connection pad, right as seen from the front Pushbutton switches: SW1 = volume up SW2 = volume down SW3 = camera button Major ICs on the battery/SIM side: U1 = Calypso U2 = TWL3014 (Iota) U3 = Marvell 88W8385 U4 = GSM RF transceiver (TRF6151) U5 = GSM RF PA (SKY77328-13) U6 = GSM antenna switch U7 = Marvell 88W8015 Major ICs on the display/keypad side: U8 = S71PL129NC0 flash+RAM U9 = SPCA552E U10 = LSI ASIC U11 = W56940 (ringtone chip) U12 = CP2102 Crystal oscillators: Y1 = xtal in the GSM RF shieldcan Y2 = xtal in the WLAN RF shieldcan
