The following RSSI display thresholds have been observed on a North American C139 phone (sw ver 1.0.07) tested on our CMU200 in the PCS band; each number of bars given below appears when the BCCH signal level on the CMU200 is set to greater than or equal to the corresponding number: 5 bars threshold: -86 dBm 4 bars threshold: -94 dBm 3 bars threshold: -98 dBm 2 bars threshold: -102 dBm 1 bar appears until complete loss of service No Pirelli-like 5 dB hysteresis is seen on this phone.
