This directory contains various DEC odds and ends: microcodes, ROM images,
diags, VMS/Ultrix booters and bits, etc.

The following items are currently available:

730console.v58	Standard console TU58 for VAX-11/730, Version 58. Unfortunately
		this is not a virgin block image of the original tape, it has
		been mutilated by VMS EXCHANGE. But it should work as a
		temporary substitute until we can find a real DEC console TU58
		and make a block image of it.

750console	Standard console TU58 for VAX-11/750.

8200console	Standard console RX50 for VAX 8200.

boot58-750.exe	boot58.exe, original 750 version.

boot58-8200.exe	boot58.exe, updated VAX 8200 version. It should still work on
		750, it's basically a newer version of standard BOOT58.

ci780.bin	CI780/CI750 microcode.

cibca.bin.3-4	CIBCA microcode version 3/4. It appears that the CIBCA microcode
		file consists of two parts each having its own version number,
		the second version number equal to the first version number plus
		1. Don't ask me why, I have no idea, this is just a guess from
		examining the binary files.

cibca.bin.5-6	CIBCA microcode version 5/6.

pcs750.bin.V98	pcs750.bin 11/750 microcode patch file V98.

pcs750.bin.V99	pcs750.bin 11/750 microcode patch file V99. This is the correct
		V99, not the broken one that came with 4.3-Tahoe and later
		BSD distributions. This is the one I recommend using.

rabads.aout	Ultrix rabads program, a.out version for putting onto a UNIX
		filesystem and loading via UNIX boot.

rabads.image	Ultrix rabads program, pure image version for putting onto
		console media and loading via console commands.

vmb.exe		The latest version taken from Ultrix V4.20.
